Adopt a Cop in Prayer

adopt_a_cop.jpegLaw Enforcement across the Country - who are out there protecting us - are, themselves, now the target of attacks.

If you believe in the Power of Prayer there is a site to sign up to receive the name of a specific Law Enforcement Officer to add to your Prayer LIst.  I signed up and have my Officer!

If you do not believe in the Power of Prayer, sign up anyhow, let God work through you.  You do not have to believe in Him for Him to believe in you.

State v Federal Police Force & Posse Comitatus

An interesting 4 minute video that explains the difference between Local and National Police force. from The John Birch Society

This video explains the dangers of an encroaching and ever expanding national law enforcement force.

We have The Posse Comitatus Act, a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385, original at 20 Stat. 152) signed on June 18, 1878 by President Rutherford B. Hayes. The purpose of the act – in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807 – is to limit the powers of the federal government in using federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States.   The Federal Government cannot be allowed to circumvent the intent of Posse Comitatus through nationalizing local law enforcement or allow the Federal government to encroach upon local law enforcement decisions.

One only need recall Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union in the past, and Cuba and China in the present, to understand the terror inflicted by criminal regimes through their national police.

In June of 1961, the U.S. Senate Internal Security Subcommittee released a small report that detailed Communist plans to discredit and destroy local police forces. Called “A Communist Plot Against the Free World Police,” it was ignored by much of the mass media. Here, in part, is what it said:

Our police are among the foremost guard- ians of freedom and thus a major target of the Communists. The better the force ... the more vital it is for the Communists to destroy it....
