How Republicans undercut themselves

It is a pity that most of our members did not attend our meeting last night. We had an interesting speaker in Daniel Garza. I don't quite agree with his stance on immigration, but I certainly found him on the right track, in general, when it comes to the Hispanic community. His organization, The Libre Initiative, seems to do good work in telling Latinos about the importance of the Constitution, Free Markets and Education.

During the question period, however, there was a nasty person, who went into a diatribe about the destructiveness of all illegals, their criminality and in general her disdain for them. I, for one, was taken aback and could not believe my ears. All it takes is one foolish person to destroy the goodwill gained from a lot of hard work and public relations efforts. Her outburst was indicative of why Republicans, consistently, snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.
